Since the very first Show, the Pavilion has been a large part of the annual Nowra Show, highlighting some amazing Shoalhaven talent. There are 28 sections to choose from and over 722 classes. Find out more.

Cattle

150 years ago a group of farmers got together to compare their dairy cattle and nothing much has changed. Throughout both days there will be milking demonstrations, butter making and educational material on milk products. Find out more.

Horses

The Horse Section is one of the four sections which were present from the very first show, missing only one year, 2008. This includes classes for many different breeds of horse, with each breed split into classes. Find out more.

Poultry

In celebration of the 150th year of the Nowra Show Society, this year the Poultry Section will include a Brahma Feature Breed. We are very excited that Geese have been added to the Schedule for this very special Show. Find out more.

Woodchop

This year’s Woodchop program will again take centre stage at the 2024 Nowra Show. Briefly appearing at the annual Show prior to World War I before being a permanent fixture in the later 1920s. Find out more.

Alpacas

The Alpaca section would like to invite you to come and meet our lovely Alpacas. Please don’t bring your dogs near the Alpacas as they scare the Alpacas. Find out more.

Goats

Showcasing different breeds of miniature goats including Australian Miniature goats, Pygmy Goats and Nigerian Dwarf Goats, Aussie Mini and Mini Nubian. Find out more.

Beaut Ute

Cars must be in by 11 am and judging begins at 2pm. Enter via North Street (Scenic Drive Gate). Your show entrance will be your entry fee for one class (extra classes $5.00). Find out more.

Young Farmer Challenge

It is a fun, entertaining and fast-paced obstacle course (of sorts) comprised of farm-related challenges. The fundamental goal of running the challenge is to engage, entertain and educate the audience. Find out more.

Dog High Jump

It may seem counter intuitive to encourage ‘man’s best friend’ to jump higher than the average backyard fence, however, since the Dog High Jump became a regular fixture on the Friday night program, it has proved very popular with competitors and viewers alike. Find out more.

Demolition Derby

One of the Show’s newest attractions, the noise and non-stop action of the Demolition Derby is fast becoming a crowd favourite for Saturday night. Find out more.

Rodeo
